Terms of Service

Language. These terms are published in English, and the English version is the one that applies. Si prefieres leerlo en español, escríbenos a support@ultra-translator.com y te lo explicamos, pero la versión inglesa es la que rige.

1. Who we are

Ultra Translator ("the software") is developed and operated by Pierre Jeffrey Sanchez Herrera, based in Panama. You can reach us at support@ultra-translator.com.

2. Who sells you the subscription

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service enquiries and handles returns. When you subscribe, your contract for the purchase is with Paddle, and Paddle's buyer terms apply to that transaction in addition to these terms.

3. What the software does

Ultra Translator translates the text of computer games built with Ren'Py, RPG Maker, Unity, GameMaker and Godot, using machine translation. It is a tool you run on your own computer, on games you already have.

4. What you may and may not do

You may use the software on games you have obtained lawfully, for your own use, and you may share the translations you produce where the game's own licence allows it.

You must not:

5. Free and paid

Translating games with Ren'Py, Unity, RPG Maker and GameMaker is free, and we intend to keep it that way. A paid subscription unlocks Babelith, the live in-game translator, and supports development. What each tier includes is listed on the pricing section, and we only list things that are true today.

6. Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation

Refunds are covered in our Refund Policy.

7. Licence keys

Your subscription gives you a licence key. The software sends that key to our server to check that it is valid; nothing else about your games is sent with it. If a key is shared or published, we may revoke it and issue you a new one.

8. Changes to the software and to these terms

The software changes often, and features may be added, altered or removed. If we remove something that a paid tier promised, we will say so and you can cancel. If we change these terms in a way that affects you, we will publish the new version here with a new date.

9. Warranty and liability

The software is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost data or damage to game files. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected by anything in these terms.

10. Ending your access

We may suspend or end access if a key is being shared, if payment is reversed fraudulently, or if the software is used to break the law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will contact you first.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Panama, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections you have where you live.
